2Establishment of emaergency disaster menagement headquarters

Location: The Prime Minister's Official Residence Chief of Headquarters: The Prime Minister

In the event that the prime minister's official residence is unusable, the first of the following listed locations that is available will be used.
  • (1) Central Government Building No. 5
  • (2) Ministry of Defense
  • (3) Tachikawa Wide-area Disaster Prevention Base

The emergency disaster management headquarters will work to understand the damage situation resulting from an earthquake centered below the Tokyo Metropolitan Area as well as the current state of implementation of emergency disaster measures. It will then perform general coordination of emergency disaster measure implementation among disaster prevention institutions.
